Book review: What do you care what other people think!

I recently read this book called 'What do you care what other people think!' written by the late Richard Feynman. In his book, he has written an autobiography of himself when he met his first love, did not care what other people think when his finacee was suffering from a incurable disease and his parents and her parents did not want to tell her the truth. So he was in a tough situation. In the end, he told her the truth and settled everything with her. A few days later, she passed away peacefully. In the second part of the book, he has written how he solve the crashed spaceship 'Challenger' mystery. It is a book worth reading, believe me.

My views about this year

Today is the second week of school and I can already feel the so-called studying stress. The subjects that I am now currently taking are tedious yet interesting. Basically, I think that if I am interested in the subject, I can do quite well regardless of how hard the subject may be. However, if I were to be interested in my subjects for the whole year( most unlikely ), I would surely feel the 'heat' during the next semester. Sports may help abit, but since we are in a very modern world, whereby technology has greatly increase, we have to keep up with the world. So my view of the computer is that it helps us keep up with modern technology, and if it was to be kept from us, then I don't know what my future would be like. But there has to be discipline and self-control in order to use it, and I have to learn it the hard way; i deserve it. But nevertheless, I will show the discipline and self control that is needed for using the computer once more.

My trip to Thailand

I left Singapore on the 25th of december,2005 in a plane that was headed for Thailand. I was going for an asia pacific regional scout jamboree that was to be held in Thailand. After a 2 hour flight, I was in Bangkok. Our contigent had arrived 2 days earlier since there was to be a home hospitality programme for us and we were invited by 2 of the good schools to join. So after it was over, we then headed for the official jamboree site. It was huge! The place was like the whole of East Coast Park. During the jamboree, we had to do activties and I made quite a number of foreign scouts from other countries. It was a very fun experience for me and I hope that in future, I am able to go the next jamboree which will be held in Scotland. It will celebrate the 100th year of scouting, so it must probably be quite a big event; I can't wait!
