Day 4: the most important day
Day 4 was the most important day of our whole NPC life. We were to know the overall results oof the whole camp. During the campfire, we enjoyed ourselves. But when it was time for our Camp-chief to annouce the results, everyone was in deep thought and solemn. The camp-chief started with the bronze merit. Our team prayed that we were no to get bronze, since our team got bronze 2 years ago. When he had finished announcing the bronze results, our team yelled with joy-sliver was ours. And it certainly was, when the camp-chief announced our name during the sliver merit ceremony. We were overjoyed, and we celebrated after the campfire. That night we slept peacefully, knowing that we have done our troop well.
The 2nd/3rd day of the National Patrol Camp
The 2nd day was somewhat similar to the first only that wit was the whole day compared to the first day( the competition started around 2 that day), so I shall skip it.
I will only highlight the important stuff, which were backwoodsman cooking and orienteering we did during the 3rd day. 4 of our members were to do backwoodsman cooking and the other 4 were to do orienteering. I did orienteering, so the cooking stuff I cannot explain much. During our orienteering compeition, we were somewhat satisfied with our work. And then we continued with our campsite development until it was time to sleep.

The First day of the National Patrol Camp
6 days ago was the start of a nation-wide camp, involving 49 teams from 48 different schools( if you are wondering why there are 48 schools but 49 teams, then it is because the school called Raffles Institution( RI) has sent 2 teams). Each team consists of 8 members and every team has to work hard to earn every bit of merit they can get, for there were only 6 gold winners, 10 silver winners and 15 bronze winners( the numbers are estimated ). So for our team, well, you have to wait until I have written the results on our 4th day in camp.
On the first day, it had already started raining, so it was a hard start for our team. we were drenched by the time we were prepared for competition. When it started, all teams started at a very fast pace and we were somewhat behind them by abit. The whole day, nothing but campsite development. When it was time to sleep, everyone had felt some strength in them being used up during the day. We had to rest to conserve our energy for the following day.
