The First day of the National Patrol Camp

6 days ago was the start of a nation-wide camp, involving 49 teams from 48 different schools( if you are wondering why there are 48 schools but 49 teams, then it is because the school called Raffles Institution( RI) has sent 2 teams). Each team consists of 8 members and every team has to work hard to earn every bit of merit they can get, for there were only 6 gold winners, 10 silver winners and 15 bronze winners( the numbers are estimated ). So for our team, well, you have to wait until I have written the results on our 4th day in camp.
On the first day, it had already started raining, so it was a hard start for our team. we were drenched by the time we were prepared for competition. When it started, all teams started at a very fast pace and we were somewhat behind them by abit. The whole day, nothing but campsite development. When it was time to sleep, everyone had felt some strength in them being used up during the day. We had to rest to conserve our energy for the following day.
